The 4th Annual Bronx Summer Cleanup Series, presented by the Sanitation Foundation and the New York Yankees, was another resounding success.

Our dedicated volunteers helped clean up five of the borough’s most vibrant neighborhoods. 440 volunteers worked together to fill 600 bags containing over 6,140 pounds of litter. As a nice treat - all volunteers received a pair of tickets to a NY Yankees game.

This summer series is an invaluable initiative that brings together residents, businesses, and local organizations in service of a cleaner, greener community. A huge THANKS to the team at the New York Yankees who ensure that this annual cleanup event continues to be a huge hit!
