We host and support volunteer events across the city, all designed to educate New Yorkers about NYC Sanitation’s essential services and the role we all play in creating a cleaner, healthier city. Want to clean up your neighborhood? If you get a group together of two or more people, we will provide you with everything you need to get started including loaning tools and planning logistics.
Individual Volunteers
Interested in participating in a cleanup? Register to join us at an upcoming event — volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to attend our community cleanups.
