Join Us for a Cleanup Each Week!

Dear NYC, 

We all play a role in keeping our streets clean and our communities healthy – let’s take action together and team up to clean up our City!

Join us from April through July for weekend volunteer litter cleanups in communities across the City. This series will sweep through all 5 Boroughs, with cleanups from 10AM - 12PM. Pick a borough, pick a date, and come pick up litter alongside the Sanitation Foundation and your fellow New Yorkers. Together, we can create a cleaner, stronger NYC.

FAQS

WHAT TO WEAR

  • We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes.

  • Wearing layers, a hat, and sunscreen is recommended as the weather warms up.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Please bring your own water bottle.

  • There is no onsite storage for valuables, please only bring necessities. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • The Sanitation Foundation will provide all necessary tools and gloves.

RESTROOM ACCESS

  • We cannot always guarantee access to a public restroom during the event. Please plan accordingly.
