Ready, Set, Clean!

The Sanitation Foundation is the official nonprofit partner of the NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY) and supports the work of DSNY to clean up the city and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.

Our mission is to inspire every New Yorker to recognize the role they play in keeping the city clean and empower them to take action towards waste reduction. By combining educational initiatives with hands-on experiences, we are building a citywide culture that embraces sustainability and cleanliness.

Creating lasting change requires active involvement from the entire community.

Make your mark on NYC by contributing today.

Together, let's build a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable NYC
