Meet your Council Member, beautify your community and learn more about the important role street trees play in creating a healthier & more livable city!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Volunteers will spend time removing litter from street tree pits, applying compost -- made with food scraps collected through NYC's compost collection program and planting daffodil bulbs!
WHAT TO WEAR
We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty & closed-toe shoes.
Wearing layers and insulated clothing is also recommended.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring your own water bottle & sunscreen
There is no onsite storage for valuables, please only bring necessities. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
We will provide all necessary tools and gloves

We cannot guarantee access to a public restroom during the event. Please plan accordingly.
