About this event
Through our Mobile Markets, City Harvest delivers fresh fruits and vegetables, free of charge, to thousands of New Yorkers each month. Community members gather in farmers’ market settings, where they receive fresh produce and non-perishable items.
Individuals interested in volunteering at the Stapleton Mobile Market located at 75 Hill Street Staten Island, NY on June 15th from 8:15 AM – 12:00 PM can sign up through the provided group link. City Harvest is able to hold to up five spots for individuals to volunteer together as part of the Food Waste Fair group. Please sign-up to volunteer at least one week prior to the shift. Registration is available on a first-come basis.
If individuals are interested in volunteering beyond this group opportunity, the first step towards becoming a volunteer is to attend a volunteer orientation. All orientations are currently held via Zoom. To sign up for the next available orientation, please visit our portal. The dates listed reflect all availability, once an orientation reaches capacity it will be removed from the list, but cancellations may cause dates to reappear. In the meantime, please review our updated Policies and Procedures and the requirements from the City of New York.
