Beyond Scraps: Strategies for Reducing Food-Related Plastics & Packaging

This event is part of the NYC Food Waste Fair 2021. To see all NYC Food Waste Fair events, visit www.foodwastefair.com

About this event

From grower to distributor to your local supermarket, waste associated with food production is generated all along the supply chain but is often overlooked. The plastics from packaging, single-use utensils, and shipping waste add up, so if we aim to eradicate food waste, we need to think beyond the plate and reduce packaging waste.
