Get your hands dirty at the Big Apple Compost facility in Freshkills Park! We’re giving compost back to New Yorkers and we need your help to make it happen. Spend the day getting a behind the scenes tour of NYC composting facilitates with WeCare Denali while helping the NYC Department of Sanitation create outreach compost bags to give out to New Yorkers.
Transportation to and from the Big Apple Compost facility will be provided by the Sanitation Foundation. Our bus will pick up and drop off participants at 125 Worth Street, New York, NY 10013.
